Why We Created Our Online Skate Shop

Roller skating is more than just a hobby and a business for us—it’s a lifestyle! 

Everywhere we go, we find ourselves searching for roller skate-related items! Pillows, notebooks, coffee mugs, skate attire, etc. We realized how difficult it can be to find a single place that has it all. I'd find a super cute roller skate shirt from a random boutique, or a notebook from a craft store, or if I got lucky I'd find the iconic skate vase from a store like TJ Maxx or HomeGoods, once in a blue moon!

That’s why we decided to create an online shop: a one-stop destination for everything roller skate-related!

Passion for the Business Our journey started with the opportunity to take over a 60+ year old vintage skating rink! It took us several years (it's a forever journey) to continue to build Mac's into a household name.

We wanted to continue to modernize the old-school roller skating industry, which started with a few upgrades. Upgrading our POS, booking parties online, expanding our social presence. 

In 2025 as I'm writing this the next step is to launch this shop! A place for people to shop custom attire, as well as skate goodies from all across the country! 

This business is our way of giving back our love to the skating community... one that has embraced us whole-heartedly and supported our journey since 2019.

We’ve curated a collection of products that every skate lover can appreciate and enjoy! 

At the time of this article, we don't have skates on our site- but that may change as we continue to see success from our online sales!

Our goal is to celebrate and support all of the skater lovers. Skating has an incredible way of bringing people together and creating a sense of unity. Whether it’s sharing laughs at the rink, forming new friendships at a roller skating event, or connecting online with fellow enthusiasts, skating unites people from all walks of life.
